The national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain will deploy its Airbus A320neos featuring 16 recliner-style Falcon Gold Seats (Business Class) with 46 inches of seat pitch and 120 standard Economy Class seats with 30 or 31 inches of seat pitch.
Captain Waleed AlAlawi, Acting Chief Executive Officer, Gulf Air, said:
We are delighted to announce the launch of our Bahrain–Tel Aviv route as part of the historic Bahraini–Israeli relations. As the national carrier of the Kingdom of Bahrain; we take great pride in supporting our leadership and Kingdom in their role of preserving peace and prosperity in the region. We hope this is merely the beginning of developing further opportunities.
The announcement of launch of flights to Tel Aviv follows the announcement of peace between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Israel and the political, commercial and civil aviation agreements signed last year between the two countries.
Meanwhile, Gulf Air has restored double-daily flights to London following the UK government’s decision to move Bahrain to its ‘Amber List’ in its travel traffic light system.
