Hilton to open first Curio Collection by Hilton Hotel in Vietnam in 2023

Hilton has signed a management agreement with one of Vietnam’s hospitality and real estate development companies, Sun Group, to launch a new resort under Curio Collection by Hilton in Phu Quoc, Vietnam.

The resort will feature 197 guest rooms and suites and is set to open in Phu Quoc in 2023. La Festa Phu Quoc, Curio Collection by Hilton will represent Hilton’s first resort in the country, joining three other Hilton-managed hotels in Vietnam including Hilton Hanoi Opera, Hilton Garden Inn Hanoi and Hilton Da Nang.

As the largest island in Vietnam renowned for its pristine beaches, Phu Quoc is part of the UNESCO World Biosphere Reserve and is an emerging tourist destination in Vietnam. With flight capacity to the island growing at almost 20 percent over the five years prior to the outbreak of the pandemic, we are optimistic it will remain one of the most sought-after resort destinations in the region for travellers when borders reopen.

Located 20 kilometers from the Phu Quoc International Airport, the resort will sit within the Sun Premier Village Primavera, a local tourist attraction that reflects elements of the iconic Amalfi town of Italy. Facing the island’s popular Kiss Bridge and within close proximity to the Gondola Cable Car station, the resort will feature bold Mediterranean-inspired architecture and join an array of restaurants, bars and entertainment facilities in the vicinity. Guests at the resort will have incomparable views of the sunset and ocean and enjoy direct access to the beach.

Meanwhile, Hilton recently signed its 4 resort in the Maldives, Hilton Maldives Amangiri, bringing its flagship brand to the dreamy island paradise, Conrad Los Angeles at The Grand LA, DoubleTree by Hilton Osaka Castle, Sea Breeze Santorini Beach Resort, Curio Collection by Hilton and DoubleTree by Hilton Bahrain Residences.
