The news comes just a month after the airline announced a new fifth freedom route between Los Angeles and Taipei. That flight will run 3-times-a-week on the Airbus A350-900 aircraft.

Meanwhile, Singapore Airlines has announced that it will relaunch nonstop fifth-freedom flight services between Los Angeles, California and Taipei, Taiwan that it suspended 13 years ago once again.
