Qatar Airways has announced the resumption of flights to Medina, Saudi Arabia, with the first flight taking off today.
Starting today, Qatar Airways is once again operating flights between Doha’s Hamad International Airport and Medina’s Prince Mohammed Bin Abdulaziz International Airport. The 4-weekly flights will operate with the following schedule:
- Doha-Medina
- Departure time: 01:00
- Arrival time: 03:15
- Flight time: 2 hours and 15 minutes
- Flight number: QR1174
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (daily flights from 1st November 2021)
- Medina-Doha
- Departure time: 04:15
- Arrival time: 06:25
- Flight time: 2 hours and 10 minutes
- Flight number: QR1175
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays (daily flights from 1st November 2021)

The Medina services will be operated by Qatar Airways’ Airbus A320 featuring 12 Business Class seats and 132 Economy Class seats.
The resumption of services will enable passengers flying from and to Medina to easily connect to over 140 destinations of the airline’s global network in Asia, Africa, Europe and the Americas.
Recently, Accor announced the signing of a Novotel Hotel in the city of Madinah, Saudi Arabia.
Meanwhile, the carrier has also ramped up services to the United States with over 100 weekly flights to 12 destinations. Also, the airline recently celebrated 10 years of flying to Canada and has expanded the use of IATA Travel Pass too. Qatar Airways recently unveiled new Boeing B787-9 Business Class product and has also strengthened its partnership with Alaska Airlines. Recently, Qatar Airways shared details of its strategic partnership with RwandAir and the airline launched flights to Lusaka and Harare. The airline recently completed 10 years of flying to Sofia, Bulgaria and has added Almaty, Kazakhstan to its network.
