Accor’s luxury brand Fairmont Hotels and Resorts is on an expansion spree in India right now, with signed hotels in Shimla, Goa and Agra. After its debut in India in 2012 with Fairmont Jaipur, the brand opened its second hotel in the country in Mumbai in April this year. Fairmont is ready with another property yet again, this time in the city of Udaipur in the state of Rajasthan. The details of Fairmont Udaipur Palace are now out. I must say that the hotel looks stunning, at least in the pictures. Read on to know more and take a look at the pictures to see for yourself how aesthetically pleasant it looks.
Location and Design
Fairmont Udaipur Palace is nestled amidst the verdant Aravalli Hills. It is located in Sisarma, Girma area in the outskirts of the city. Thoughts
Simply said, Fairmont Udaipur Palace looks stunning! The palace-like structure combined with the modern Rajasthani interior surely looks pleasing. It seems that Accor is bringing yet another banger in Udaipur after the highly-celebrated Raffles Udaipur.
Udaipur’s hospitality market is changing rapidly, with several new hotels scheduled to open in the next two years. Fairmont Udaipur Palace will mark a good addition to the hospitality market of the city. In March this year, Marriott announced the opening of Udaipur Marriott Hotel while The Leela Palaces, Hotels and Resorts unveiled ultra-luxury villa spaces called “Arq by The Leela” at The Leela Palace Udaipur last year.
Meanwhile, Accor recently unveiled Raffles Lakeshore Udaipur, adding another building on the lakeshore with 36 rooms and suites, making it a total of 137 rooms and suites when combined with Raffles Udaipur.
