IHG has announced the opening of Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof, the largest Holiday Inn Express in Europe.
Opened in partnership with PRIMESTAR, Holiday Inn Express Dusseldorf – Hauptbahnhof features 455 guest rooms and suites, making it the largest Holiday Inn Express hotel in Europe to date. The hotel is designed with modern city-seeking travellers in mind, in a great location just 1km from the city’s central railway and near to the charming Old Town, Königsallee shopping area, Rhine Promenade, Messe Fairgrounds and Museum Kunstpalast. The Little Tokyo Neighbourhood and famous Medienhafen are also located a short distance from the hotel. Easily accessible, the hotel is a short distance from Germany’s third largest airport, Dusseldorf International. This latest opening marks a further expansion of the Holiday Inn Express brand across Europe
Showcasing Holiday Inn Express’ contemporary Next Generation design, the new opening offers guests well-equipped guest rooms with black-out shades and a Pillow Menu, plus free wi-fi and complimentary ‘Express Start’ breakfast as standard. The hotel offers a wealth of flexible working spaces, with modern technology in place to assist business travellers and guests working remotely. The hotel also offers two fully-equipped meeting rooms for up to 18 people and a self-service business centre.

Holiday Inn Express has 283 open hotels (over 36,000 guest rooms) across Europe with a further 60 properties in the development pipeline. Globally, Holiday Inn Express has 3,022 open hotels, totalling more than 317,000 guest rooms and 655 hotels in the pipeline.
Recently, Hyatt revealed plans for Hyatt Place Düsseldorf Mercedesstrasse at Tadao Ando Campus Tower.
Meanwhile, IHG recently announced the opening of Crowne Plaza, Budapest in Hungary.
