Hilton Garden Inn debuts in Australia with a Albany hotel

Hilton has announced the opening of Hilton Garden Inn Albany, the brand’s debut hotel in Australasia. The 5-storey hotel, overlooking the Albany Waterfront Marina, is owned by Foreshore Management.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany overlooks the vibrant Albany Waterfront Marina and foreshore and is strategically located beside the Albany Entertainment Centre. The hotel is within walking distance to the city centre as well as renowned historic sites including Albany Convict Gaol & Museum, and the Western Australia Museum with its replica of the Brig Amity. Close by is the popular Albany Farmers Market as well as Albany’s bus station, which connects travellers to destinations throughout Western Australia including Perth, Kalgoorlie and Bunbury.

The hotel is surrounded by beautiful views which guests can access from the Apex Lookout, Middleton Beach and the National ANZAC Centre, all within five kilometers. Hilton Garden Inn Albany is located only 14 kilometers or a 20-minute drive from Albany Airport, the largest airport in the Great Southern region.

Heidi Kunkel, Vice President, Operations, Australasia, Hilton, said:

We are thrilled to partner with Foreshore Management to open our first Hilton Garden Inn in Australasia in the thriving regional cultural, commercial and coastal hub of Albany, Western Australia. The hotel marks Hilton’s fourth hotel in the state and joins sister properties Hilton Parmelia Perth, DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Northbridge and DoubleTree by Hilton Perth Waterfront. Its opening demonstrates our ongoing commitment to the state and our first foray into regional Western Australia. We look forward to further growing the Hilton Garden Inn brand in regional centres, as this hotel will be joined by Hilton Garden Inn Busselton in 2023.

Hilton Garden Inn Albany features 108 stylish and functional king, twin and accessible guest rooms including six deluxe rooms each with panoramic ocean views. Each of the 108 guest rooms features comfortable Suite Dreams by Serta beds, a 55-inch high-definition television and a work desk with an ergonomic chair. Guests travelling in larger groups can enjoy sofa beds in every king guest room or take advantage of the new Confirmed Connecting Rooms by Hilton technology to easily book and instantly confirm at least two of the hotel’s connecting rooms.
