Vueling has announced that it will launch 5 new routes from London Gatwick Airport. - Sevilla: 3-flights-a-week starting 1st April 2022

The airline will increase frequencies on flights to the following destinations:
- Barcelona: 7-flights-a-day (one extra flight a day)
- Rome: up to-4-flights-a-day (4 extra flights each week)
- Bilbao: 3-flights-a-day (2 extra flights a day)
- Florence: 15-flights-a-week (2 extra flights each week)
- Paris Orly: 14-flights-a-week

All of the flights will be operated by the airline’s fleet of Airbus A320 family aircraft.

Stephanie Wear, Vice President of Aviation Development, London Gatwick Airport, said:
We are delighted to welcome Vueling’s expansion at Gatwick Airport. Their commitment to Gatwick is really positive news for both the airport, our partners and the local economy, as we continue to grow back following the impacts of COVID. The news also shows how attractive airport slots are at Gatwick. The additional services Vueling will now be able to offer to Spain and Italy – including new routes to Sevilla, Granada and Menorca – is excellent news for passengers across London and the South East, providing more choice and competition to popular destinations.
Vuelling’s expansion builds on other recent announcements with British Airways, Wizz Air, Emirates, TUI, Turkish Airlines and Westjet also increasing their schedules toward pre-covid levels, in addition to easyJet increasing the number of slots they will fly from the airport during the summer season.
Carolyn Prowse, Chief Commercial, Strategy, and Network Officer, Vueling, said:
We are very proud to announce the development of our international network from London Gatwick thanks to the coordination with British Airways which enables us to offer the best joint product from London to help grow our markets. This is particularly true after two very difficult years for tourism and aviation.
