Thai Airways has announced that it will launch flights to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia in July 2022.
Starting 1st July 2022, Thai Airways will operate 4-flights-a-week between Bangkok’s Suvarnabhumi Airport and Jeddah’s King Abdulaziz International Airport with the following schedule:
- Bangkok-Jeddah
- Departure time: 18:45
- Arrival time: 22:40
- Flight time: 7 hours and 55 minutes
- Flight number: TG503
- Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays
- Jeddah-Bangkok
- Departure time: 00:40
- Arrival time: 13:10
- Flight time: 8 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: TG504
- Frequency: Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

These flights will be operated by Boeing B777-200/B777-200ER (Extra Range) aircraft featuring Royal Silk Class (Business Class) and Economy Class.
This will be the first time that Thai Airways will operate nonstop flights to Saudi Arabia. The flag carrier of Thailand currently operates flights to Dubai in the Middle East.
The carrier will compete with Saudia on the Bangkok-Jeddah route. Saudia currently operates 4-weekly flights on this route.
