Now Open: IHCL SeleQtions’ The Yellow House, Goa

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the opening of The Yellow House, Goa, which is a part of the SeleQtions brand.

The Yellow House is ideally located for exploring the best of the area’s beaches, markets, and nightlife. The hotel provides easy access to the famed Vagator, Assagao-Anjuna belt. Nestled in the lively neighborhood of Anjuna, the carefully restored hotel blends traditional Goan Portuguese style with modern luxury.

The property features 49 guest rooms and suites that honour the region’s cultural past in its design. The Modern and Heritage wings of the hotel exude unique charm and character.

The hotel also features an outdoor swimming pool.

With the addition of this hotel IHCL will have 13 hotels in Goa including 2 under development.

Yet another IHCL hotel in Goa

IHCL is one of the largest hospitality groups in Goa with 13 operational hotel, with Marriott following behind with 9 properties.

The Yellow House looks like a very good addition to the bustling area of Anjuna in the North Goa. Anjuna is one of the most lively neighbourhoods in Goa and those visiting the city for the first time should definitely consider this hotel.

Aesthetically, the hotel looks very pleasing. However, it will have to live up to the expectations of its guests for the premium it is charging and keep the service a notch above the others. The nightly rates start at 12,500₹ plus taxes so it’s definitely a premium but five-star hotels in Goa generally go at these rates only.

Meanwhile, IHCL recently announced that it will open a Taj resort in Gandhinagar, Gujarat.
