Accor has announced the opening of Novotel Jodhpur ITI Circle. This marks Accor’s debut in Jodhpur, also known as the “Blue City” and the second largest city in the Indian state of Rajasthan.
Novotel Jodhpur ITI Circle is located in the industrial area near the ITI circle. Jodhpur Airport is a 20 minute drive away while the city’s main railway station is a 11 minute drive away. The famous Mehrangarh Fort is 7.5 kilometres away from the property.
The hotel features 93 guest rooms and suites. The base rooms start at 30 square meters having either Cazri view or fort’s view. Other view options include “Park View”, “Historic side view” and “City View”.
The largest accommodation option available at the hotel is the “Privilege Suite”. Accor claims that this suite “is the first remotely controlled Suite in the city”. The suite, measuring 42 square meters, features a double bed with a living room and a bathroom featuring a bathtub.

- 21 Street Walk is a 24-hour street side eatery, changing its offerings as the day progresses. During the start of the day, it offers popular breakfast dishes from the local cusine such as mirchi wada, pyaaz kachori etc while it offers the usual items during lunch and dinner times
- Step Up Bar is a place where guests can relax and enjoy wide range of innovative international and local Beer, Wine, Vodka, Gin Whiskies from around the world
The hotel features a rooftop swimming pool with panoramic views of the Mehrangarh Fort, a state-of-the-art gymnasium, and a Spa offering various wellness services.
The hotel also features 14,000 square feet of events space along with a business centre.
Jodhpur’s hotel market has been interesting to say the least. While it is the second largest city in Rajasthan, the city has not enjoyed the “boom” in the hospitality space which neighbouring cities of Jaipur and Udaipur have seen.
Presently, IHCL has a Taj property in the city along with the famous Umaid Bhawan Palace while ITC has a WelcomHotel and Marriott has a Fairfield property. There are some other big and small hotels like RAAS Jodhpur and that’s pretty much it.
Novotel Jodhpur seems a promising addition to the city. The hotel exudes the signature Novotel experience, with modern interiors and calming colours.
Nightly rates at Novotel start at upwards of ₹7,000 plus taxes. The location seems questionable but other than that, the hotel has pretty much all what a guest would expect at a signature Novotel.
Meanwhile, in January this year, Accor announced the opening of Novotel Mumbai International Airport.
