ITC Hotels has opened its newest property in the Himalayan state of Himachal Pradesh, Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Hamsa, Manali. This is Welcomhotel’s third property in the state after the ones in Shimla and Chail.
Location
Located within a pristine and expansive apple orchard, Welcomhotel By ITC Hotels, Hamsa Manali is situated approximately half hour away from the charming by lanes of old Manali. The resort is located enroute to the picturesque destinations of Rohtang Pass and Solang Valley.
Located at an elevation of 2255 metres in the quaint village of Burwa, the resort is close to several popular tourist spots such as the Solang Valley (3.5 km), Atal Tunnel (16 km), Rohtang Pass (42 km), Manali Mall Road (10 km), Hadimba Temple (11 km) and Sissu (Lahaul Valley) (32 km).
Accommodations and Dining
The 46 rooms and suites are spread over seven expansive villas, which are centrally heated and well-appointed. Accommodation options include:
- Luxury Rooms with mountain and Apple Orchard views
- Luxury Rooms with Balcony
- Club Rooms with Balcony and scenic views of Manali Valley
- Premier Suites with distinct living and bedroom areas, along with large balconies with views of Apple Orchard and surrounding peaks
Dining options include The Light House which is a multi-cuisine restaurant located in the glass conservatory, with breath taking views of the snow-clad peaks. Diners can relish gastronomical culinary delights & premium beverages, freshy prepared with handpicked produce.
Facilities
Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels Hamsa, Manali features a fitness centre with scenic views, K by Kaya Kalp Spa and a recreational area.
The resort also offers various experiences such as Nature Walks in the property and adjoining areas with plenty of scenic trails with hikes, Barbeque Nights and Picnics in lush green lawns with a delectable picnic spread.
Rates
Rates for any night in August 2023 start at 9000₹ plus taxes for a Deluxe Room while for the remainder of June and entire July, rates start at 13500₹. The rate includes breakfast and Wi-Fi.
This resort looks like a solid option for those looking to visit Manali. Manali has not had a good branded hotel option since years and the entry of Welcomhotel by ITC Hotels is a welcome move. The brand has quietly been making its way in Himachal Pradesh with excellent properties on offer and the Manali property is no different.
