IndiGo expands its presence in Mumbai with new routes and frequency increases

IndiGo, India’s largest and most successful airline, has announced that it is expanding its presence in Mumbai with new routes and frequency increases. The carrier says that it now operates more than 170 flights daily to/from Mumbai.

New and returning flights

As of 1st July 2023, IndiGo will fly daily between Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport and Durgapur’s Kazi Nazrul Islam Airport. This will be the second daily flight on the route, with the other operated by SpiceJet. The good thing here is that passengers will have two timing options, with IndiGo operating a morning flight and SpiceJet operating an afternoon flight.

On the same day, IndiGo will resume operations between Mumbai and Kannur, with a daily flight operating between the two cities.

IndiGo has introduced additional frequencies between Dehradun-Mumbai, Leh-Mumbai, Srinagar-Mumbai, Hyderabad-Mumbai, Jammu-Mumbai, Ranchi-Mumbai, Varanasi-Mumbai, Nagpur-Mumbai and Amritsar- Mumbai routes as of 3rd June 2023.
