Nok Air to start Mumbai-Bangkok flights

Low cost carrier Nok Air has announced the addition of Mumbai to its network, with flights from Bangkok starting next month.

Nok Air to Mumbai

Starting 27th October 2024, Nok Air will operate a daily flight between Mumbai (BOM) and Bangkok Don Mueang (DMK) with the following schedule:

• Bangkok Don Mueang-Mumbai
• Departure time: 22:05
• Arrival time: 01:05 (the next day)
• Flight time: 4 hours and 30 minutes
• Flight number: DD938

• Mumbai-Bangkok Don Mueang
• Departure time: 02:05
• Arrival time: 07:45
• Flight time: 4 hours and 10 minutes
• Flight number: DD939
• Note: This flight starts from 28th October 2024

Additionally, starting 3rd November 2024, the airline will operate an additional once-a-week flight with the following timings:

• Bangkok Don Mueang-Mumbai
• Departure time: 23:55
• Arrival time: 02:55 (the next day)
• Flight time: 4 hours and 30 minutes
• Flight number: DD936
• Frequency: Only on Sundays

• Mumbai-Bangkok Don Mueang
• Departure time: 04:05
• Arrival time: 09:45
• Flight time: 4 hours and 10 minutes
• Flight number: DD937
• Frequency: Only on Mondays

All of these flights will be operated by Nok Air’s Boeing B737-800 aircraft featuring 189 standard Economy Class seats.

This is a great milestone for Nok Air as we continue to increase our international network. This will enhance the travel connection from India to Bangkok and to our extensive domestic network. Not only well-known destinations like Phuket, Chiang Mai, and Krabi but also hidden gems across the country such as Chiang Rai, Nan, Udon Thani, Trang, and others.

Wutthiphum Jurangkul, Chief Executive Officer, Nok Air said.

The airline will compete with Thai Lion Air on Mumbai-Bangkok Don Mueang route. Thai Lion Air operates a daily service on the route.

Mumbai is the second destination in India for Nok Air. The airline operates 4-weekly flights to Hyderabad.
