Fairmont Mumbai now accepting reservations from 1st March 2025

Accor’s upcoming luxury hotel in India’s financial capital, Fairmont Mumbai, is now accepting reservations for stays from 1st March 2025.

Fairmont Mumbai is located just 500 metres away from Mumbai Airport’s Terminal 2 while Terminal 1 is four kilometres away. The hotel’s design is inspired from the 1920s and is “a tribute to its vibrant surroundings”.

Fairmont Mumbai will be one of the largest hotels for the brand in terms of room count. The hotel features 446 Art Deco–inspired guest rooms and suites, each featuring fine monochromatic marble and opulent touches of gold. The base rooms, named as “Fairmont Rooms”, start at 42 square meters (452 square feet). Some of the rooms offer views of the airport while some have city or pool view. The Signature Rooms start at 46 square meters (495 square feet) while the Fairmont Gold Rooms, which comes with Gold Lounge access and butler service, start at 50 square meters (538 square feet).

The Presidential Suite is the largest accommodation at the hotel which comes with two bedrooms, living and dining areas, private whirlpool, access to the Gold Lounge, butler service and complimentary transportation. It is spread across 211 square meters (2271 square feet).

Fairmont Mumbai – Dining

Fairmont Mumbai features four restaurants and a bar. Oryn offers Cantonese and Sichuan cuisine along with sake and tea ceremonies. Maroon theatre curtains, low lights and tableside cooking create a sultry 1920s scene. Oryn transforms into a club every night with DJs and artful Asian-inspired cocktails.

Madeleine de Proust is a French café offering high tea with champagne, specialty coffee or loose-leaf tea along with the signature Madeleines, which are delivered to you in jewellery inspired boxes. It also features a tea library and has an elaborate masala tea ceremony.

Samaa is the hotel’s “breezy all-fresco club” offering Mediterranean cuisine. Lush palms, enchanting fire pits, lantern lights and poolside cabanas set the scene for a night of romantic al fresco mezze and inventive desserts under the stars. Special brand partnerships transform the pool area with luxury pop-up cafés. It also offers cinema nights by the pool.

One can experience the global influence on Indian cuisine from the six live kitchens at The Merchant, with each kitchen specialising in its own culinary journey. Savour locally grown vegetarian dishes, explore the subtle flavours of awadhi biryani and bread from the tandoors, or relish Pan-Asian favourites like sashimi. The Merchants’ culinary crossroads allow you to indulge in European pizza alongside pastries, chocolates and smoothie-style lassis. It also offers master class to learn the art of dim sum or artisan chocolate and Bollywood-themed Sunday brunch with dance shows and playful menus.

The Hedonist is the hotel’s bar featuring art deco extravagance, from dark wood and marble to soft leather and rich brass. Fine whiskey, Cuban cigars and exotic cocktails spiced with saffron or jaljeera paired with jazz music completes the 1920s motif. The Hedonist’s Hand card game allows the guests to create a unique cocktail based on the cards you draw.

Facilities

Fairmont Mumbai will be India’s first hotel to offer the Blu Xone – an innovative space featuring therapies such as cryotherapy, an infrared sauna with halotherapy and a hyperbaric oxygen pod. Fairmont Spa offers multiple types of treatments, from Gua Sha Scalp Therapy to ancient Ayurvedic massages. It also offers year-round memberships.

Fairmont Fit features AI-powered Technogym equipment for a personalized, interactive workout. Specialised fitness classes ranging from zen-inspiring sunrise yoga to DJ-backed, club-style cardio and boxing sessions are available.

The outdoor palm-laden infinity pool and beach club is located in a garden courtyard that overlooks the vibrant city from the hotel’s third storey. Activities such as sunrise poolside yoga are offered here along with scheduled aquatic aerobic and Zumba classes.

Tiny Town Kids’ Club, nestled on the third floor, offers a treasure trove of books, movies, games and engaging activities for kids. Open daily from 9 am to 6 pm, the club welcomes children ages six and under.

The hotel features 75,000 square metres of banqueting venue, which includes the pillarless Infinity Ballroom with thatre kitches, 17,000 square metre of pre-function space, a mesmerising rooftop venue “The Vantage” overlooking the runway and Grand Terminus, a collection of 11 high-tech meeting rooms.

Prices

As aforementioned, Fairmont Mumbai is now accepting reservations for stays from 1st March 2025. We now have an idea of what the rates will be like.

The rates below are inclusive of breakfast and taxes for one night for Accor members:

  • Fairmont Room – INR 30,099 ($347)
  • Signature Room – INR 32,621 ($376)
  • Fairmont Gold Room – INR 35,144 ($405)
  • Junior Suite – INR 42,206 ($487)
  • Deluxe Suite – INR 45,233 ($522)

The higher category suites are not on sale yet. These prices may come down closer to the opening, based on the demand.
