Akasa Air to launch flights to Darbhanga

Low-cost carrier Akasa Air has announced the addition of Darbhanga, Bihar, to its network, with flights starting in April 2025.

Starting 4th April 2025, Akasa Air will operate a daily service between Delhi (DEL) and Darbhanga (DBR). The airline will operate a through service between Hyderabad (HYD) and Darbhanga via Delhi. That means the routing for the aircraft will be Hyderabad-Delhi-Darbhanga-Delhi-Hyderabad.

The schedule for the daily service is:

  • Hyderabad-Delhi
  • Departure time: 06:00
  • Arrival time: 08:20
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1405

  • Delhi-Darbhanga
  • Departure time: 09:00
  • Arrival time: 10:55
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 55 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1405

  • Darbhanga-Delhi
  • Departure time: 11:30
  • Arrival time: 13:25
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 55 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1406

  • Delhi-Hyderabad
  • Departure time: 14:20
  • Arrival time: 16:40
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: QP1406

These flights will be operated by Akasa Airโ€™s Boeing B737MAX aircraft.

Beyond its historical significance, Darbhanga captivates visitors with its magnificent temples, serene ponds, and vibrant wildlife.

Darbhanga is the 28th destination for the airline and the first in the state of Bihar.
