Grant Shapps, Transport Secretary of the United Kingdom, has confirmed that fully vaccinated UK travellers returning to England from ‘Amber List’ countries will no longer have to quarantine. This is a major step taken by the government of United Kingdom towards the reopening of international borders.
Portugal has imposed stricter restrictions on arrivals from the United Kingdom. The new rules mean travellers will have to quarantine for 14 days, either ‘at home or a place indicated by health authorities’, unless they can present proof of having been fully vaccinated at least 14 days before the arrival.
