Delhi Airport to consolidate all operations at Terminal 3

Delhiā€™s Indira Gandhi International Airport has announced that it will operate all flights from Terminal 3, starting 00:01 on 18th May 2021.

Delhi Airportā€™s Terminal 2 will be shut temporarily from midnight of 17th May 2021 as the number of flights has reduced significantly as India is currently going through its worst wave of COVID-19 cases since the pandemic began.

Currently, Delhi airport is handling approximately 325 flights a day whereas it used to handle around 1500 flights a day before the crisis.

Airlines like GoAir (now officially GoFirst) and Indigo have issued updates on the terminal change on their social media handles:

The announcement by Delhi Airport follows Mumbai Airportā€™s decision to operate all flights from Terminal 2.
