International passengers landing without COVID-19 report at Mumbai Airport now don’t need to wait.

Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC), the governing civic body of Mumbai,Maharashtra will now allow international flyers without a COVID-19 report to go home after swab collection, according to Times of India. The passengers will be notified about the report over the phone.
This move will help reduce crowding at the airport as passengers had to wait for hours to get their result of the test.
Presently, this rule is being practiced on domestic flights coming from Gujarat, Delhi, Goa and Rajasthan.
If the test report comes negative, the passenger will be directly informed by the lab and if the report comes out to be positive, then BMC will communicate with the respective passenger.
