Kempinski Hotels launches new ‘Fitness’ room category

Kempinski Hotels has launched a new ‘Fitness’ room category which is designed for fitness in partnership with Technogym.

New ‘Fitness’ rooms

Each ‘Kempinski Fit Room’ is equipped with a Technogym Bike, a console which features an on-demand library of ‘round the clock’ cycling classes run by trainers from around the world. Guests can select their favourite classes based on their fitness trainer, language, music and type of workout. The bike also offers total body workout experiences, with integrated handlebars and training videos.

These rooms are complete with ‘innovative in-room workout solutions and on-demand fitness services’ and guests can book the rooms through the hotels’ website.

Additionally, the rooms also include a Technogym Case, a ‘high-end design bag’ which includes a foam roller and massage ball ‘to help restore proper cirulcation to muscles’, a 100% sustainable exercise mat, loop bands for lower-body exercises, and power bands in three levels of resistance for upper body exercises.

Guests will also receive a QR code to follow a guided workout with a virtual trainer on their phone.

4 hotels currently have Fitness rooms

These ‘Fitness’ rooms are currently available at Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski Munich, Hotel Adlon Kempinski Berlin, Kempinski Hotel Mall of the Emirates Dubai and Grand Hotel Kempinski Shanghai in China. Kempinski Group which is headquartered in Geneva says that it will likely be rolling out these type of rooms to more destinations ‘as soon as guests are hopefully allowed to travel again in the coming months’.
