Avelo Airlines announces Sarasota as its 6th Floridian destination with flights from New Haven, Connecticut

Avelo Airlines, which started operations in April 2021, has been expanding agreesively. Just days after announcing nonstop flights between Las Vegas and Northern Colorado, the airline has announced flights between New Haven and Sarasota, its sixth destination in Florida.

Starting 13th January 2022, Avelo Airlines will operate 3-weekly flights between Southern Connecticut’s Tweed-New Haven Airport and Sarasota-Brendenton International Airport. The schedule for the flights which will operate on Tuesdays is:

  • New Haven-Sarasota
  • Departure time: 14:00
  • Arrival time: 17:10
  • Flight time: 3 hours and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: XP305
  • Sarasota-New Haven
  • Departure time: 17:50
  • Arrival time: 20:40
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: XP306

The schedule for the flights which will operate on Thursdays is:

  • New Haven-Sarasota
  • Departure time: 14:25
  • Arrival time: 17:35
  • Flight time: 3 hours and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: XP305
  • Sarasota-New Haven
  • Departure time: 19:35
  • Arrival time: 20:25
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: XP306

The schedule for the flights which will operate on Sundays is:

  • New Haven-Sarasota
  • Departure time: 15:55
  • Arrival time: 19:05
  • Flight time: 3 hours and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: XP305
  • Sarasota-New Haven
  • Departure time: 19:45
  • Arrival time: 22:35
  • Flight time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
  • Flight number: XP305

Flights will be operated by a Boeing B737-700 aircraft. Sarasota joins Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, Fort Myers, Tampa and Palm Beach in Avelo’s Florida network.

Meanwhile, Avelo recently announced a new route between Los Angeles and Tucson, Arizona.
