Vistara is expanding from Chandigarh with nonstop flights to the Indian metro city of Hyderabad starting early next year.
Nonstop between Chandigarh and Hyderabad
Starting 9th January 2022, Vistara will operate a daily nonstop flight between Hyderabad’s Rajiv Gandhi International Airport and Chandigarh International Airport. The flights will run with the following schedule:
- Hyderabad-Chandigarh
- Departure time: 11:00
- Arrival time: 13:30
- Flight time: 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: UK659
- Frequency: Daily
- Chandigarh-Hyderabad
- Departure time: 15:00
- Arrival time: 17:30
- Flight time: 2 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: UK660
- Frequency: Daily
Flights will be operated by the airline’s all-Economy Class Airbus A320 aircraft.

Vistara will compete with Indigo and GoFirst on Hyderabad-Chandigarh route. Indigo, which is India’s largest domestic airline, operates a daily flight between the two cities. GoFirst will resume 5-weekly flights between the two cities on 17th January 2022.
Expanding from Chandigarh
Hyderabad will be Vistara’s 4th destination to be served from Chandigarh. From Chandigarh, the airline operates twice-daily flights to New Delhi, twice-daily flights to Mumbai and a daily flight to Bengaluru.
With 6 daily departures from Chandigarh, Vistara will now be the 3rd largest carrier at Chandigarh International Airport after Indigo and GoFirst.
Indigo continues to remain the largest airline at Chandigarh with nonstop flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Ahmedabad, Jaipur, Goa, Pune, Srinagar and Kolkata. GoFirst has nonstop flights to Mumbai, Delhi, Srinagar, Ahmedabad and Hyderabad (resumes on 17th January 2022 as mentioned above).
Recently, Accor announced the opening of Novotel Chandigarh Tribune Chowk.
Meanwhile, Vistara recently launched nonstop flights between Delhi and Paris.
