Aer Lingus Regional launches flights between Dublin and Newcastle

Emerald Airlines has announced the launch of flights between Dublin and Newcastle. The flights will operate under the Aer Lingus Regional brand.

Aer Lingus Regional will operate 5-flights-a-week between Dublin Airport and Newcastle International Airport. The flights will run with the following schedule:

  • Dublin-Newcastle
  • Departure time: 09:20 (10:20 on Sundays)
  • Arrival time: 10:35 (11:35 on Sundays)
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
  • Flight number: EI3350
  • Frequency: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
  • Newcastle-Dublin
  • Departure time: 11:00 (12:00 on Sundays)
  • Arrival time: 12:05 (13:20 on Sundays)
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 05 minutes (1 hour and 20 minutes on Sundays)
  • Flight number: EI3351
  • Frequency: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Flights will be operated by ATR72 aircraft.

Passengers travelling to Dublin from Newcastle will easily be able to connect onto Aer Lingus’ North American network, with connections from the North East via Dublin to New York, Boston, Chicago, Washington DC, Philadelphia and Toronto.

Aer Lingus Regional will compete with Ryanair on Dublin-Newcastle-Dublin route. Ryanair recently opened a new base at Newcastle International Airport with flights to Chania, Fuerteventura, Gran Canaria, Ibiza, Krakow, Menorca, Milan, Paphos, Riga and Zadar this summer.
