Etihad Airways has announced that it will launch a second-daily flight to Manila, Philippines.
Starting 30th October 2022, Etihad will operate a second-daily flight between Abu Dhabi International Airport and Manila’s Ninoy Aquino International Airport, thus enhancing connectivity between the United Arab Emirates and Philippines.
The first daily flight on Abu Dhabi-Manila-Abu Dubai route will run with the following schedule:
- Abu Dhabi-Manila
- Departure time: 02:45
- Arrival time: 15:10
- Flight time: 8 hours and 25 minutes
- Flight number: EY424
- Manila-Abu Dhabi
- Departure time: 17:35
- Arrival time: 23:10
- Flight time: 9 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: EY423
The second daily flight on Abu Dhabi-Manila-Abu Dubai route will run with the following schedule:
- Abu Dhabi-Manila
- Departure time: 10:10
- Arrival time: 22:35
- Flight time: 8 hours and 25 minutes
- Flight number: EY428
- Manila-Abu Dhabi
- Departure time: 00:25
- Arrival time: 06:00
- Flight time: 9 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: EY421
Both the daily frequencies will be operated by Boeing B787 Dreamliner aircraft featuring Business Class and Economy Class.

The combined double-daily flights will see Etihad offer 450,000 seats annually between Abu Dhabi and Manila, representing a year-on-year capacity increase of 75%. The additional frequency will also increase the total annual cargo capacity to almost 30,000 tonnes, opening more business opportunities and supporting the growth of bilateral trade.
In Southeast Asia, Etihad will offer up to 56 weekly flights this winter between Abu Dhabi and Manila (14 weekly flights), Bangkok (14), Phuket (7), Singapore (7), Kuala Lumpur (7) and Jakarta (7).
Meanwhile, Etihad Airways recently resumed scheduled flights to Beijing.
