As part of JetBlue’s refined London flying schedule, it will adjust service between New York JFK and London Gatwick, operating a daily flight instead of twice-daily. In total, JetBlue will maintain three-daily flights between New York and London.

The airline also operates a daily flight from Boston to London Heathrow and London Gatwick. JetBlue is the only airline to offer service between New England and two of London’s busiest airports.

All of these flights will be operated by Airbus A321LR (Long Range) aircraft including 2 Mint Studio suites, 22 Mint suites, 24 Even More Space seats (standard Economy Class seats with extra legroom) and 90 standard Economy Class seats.

JetBlue says that its “multi-airport approach in London, with diversified flying at two of the U.K.’s busiest airports, has already allowed the airline to grow a meaningful customer base of loyal transatlantic fliers and build valuable relationships with key teams at both airports”.

Good option for business travellers

The addition of this new flight with a early morning departure from London Heathrow and early afternoon arrival in New York JFK is a good option for business travellers.

JetBlue is basically shifting one of its Gatwick flights London Heathrow, thus majorly concentrating its operations at Heathrow, despite the airport’s high operating costs.
