Marriott has announced that it will open a new Le Méridien resort in the Emirate of Ras Al Khaimah in the United Arab Emirates.
Scheduled to open in 2026, Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort and Spa will feature 350 guest rooms and suites. The beachfront property located on Al Marjan Island will feature seven food and beverage venues and a range of facilities including a fitness centre, a swimming pool, spa and kids’ club.
Le Méridien Al Marjan Island Resort and Spa will be the first greenfield Marriott International hotel in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah. We see ample growth opportunities in the emirate’s rapidly booming tourism sector, and the experiential offerings that the European-born brand is renowned for, will complement the expectations of the adventure and leisure guests on Al Marjan Island.said Ajay Kumar Halwasiya, Managing Director, Three Musketeers Hospitality (the real estate developer with which Marriott has partnered for this resort).

The resort will also include Le Méridien brand signatures such as Le Meridien Hub which will be a modern interpretation of the traditional hotel lobby space.

Marriott presently has two Ritz Carlton resorts in Ras Al Khaimah.
