Singapore Airlines has announced the addition of London Gatwick to its network, with flights beginning in the middle of next year.
Starting 21st June 2024, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate 5-flights-a-week between Singapore Changi Airport and London Gatwick Airport with the following schedule:
- Singapore-London Gatwick
- Departure time: 23:55
- Arrival time: 06:25 (the next day)
- Flight time: 13 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: SQ310
- Frequency: Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
- London Gatwick-Singapore
- Departure time: 10:15
- Arrival time: 06:20 (the next day)
- Flight time: 13 hours and 05 minutes
- Flight number: SQ309
- Frequency: Mondays, Tuesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays
These flights will be operated by Singapore Airlines’ long-haul variant of the Airbus A350-900 aircraft featuring 253 seats across three classes of service – 42 Business Class seats, 24 Premium Economy Class seats and 187 standard Economy Class seats.
The flag carrier of Singapore says that the early morning arrival in Singapore will offer passengers easy connections to destinations across South East Asia, Australia, and New Zealand on SIA and Scoot flights.
London has always been a very important market for the Singapore Airlines Group. With the introduction of this new service to London’s Gatwick Airport, Singapore Airlines’ customers will have an additional flight to choose from when flying between Singapore and the UK. It also opens up additional travel options to other points in Europe and the Asia-Pacific region.

Together with its current four-times daily services to London’s Heathrow Airport, this will bring the total number of flights to the United Kingdom’s capital to 33-weekly services from today’s 28-weekly services. SIA also operates five-times weekly services to Manchester Airport.

The addition of London Gatwick takes total number of European destinations in SIA network to 14.
