Etihad adds Jaipur and Antalya to its network

Etihad has announced the addition of Jaipur and Antalya to its network. This is part of the airline’s wider global expansion plan.

Jaipur

Starting 16th June 2024, Etihad will operate 4-flights-a-week between Abu Dhabi and Jaipur, India with the following schedule:

  • Abu Dhabi-Jaipur
  • Departure time: 03:05
  • Arrival time: 08:05
  • Flight time: 3 hours and 30 minutes
  • Flight number: EY366
  • Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

  • Jaipur-Abu Dhabi
  • Departure time: 11:00
  • Arrival time: 13:00
  • Flight time: 3 hours and 30 minutes
  • Flight number: EY367
  • Frequency: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays

These flights will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft featuring Business and Economy cabins.

Jaipur, the vibrant capital of Rajasthan in India, is a city that blends tradition and modernity. Known as the “Pink City” for its distinctive rose-hued architecture, Jaipur exudes a rich cultural heritage boasting amazing palaces, such as the Hawa Mahal and City Palace.

The addition of Jaipur brings the total number of destinations Etihad serves in India to 11 after the recent addition of Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode.

Antalya

As of 15th June 2024, the UAE flag carrier will operate 3-flights-a-week between Abu Dhabi and Antalya, Turkey with the following timings:

  • Abu Dhabi-Antalya
  • Departure time: 09:20
  • Arrival time: 13:00
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 40 minutes
  • Flight number: EY539
  • Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

  • Antalya-Abu Dhabi
  • Departure time: 14:30
  • Arrival time: 19:45
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 15 minutes
  • Flight number: EY540
  • Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays

These flights will be operated by the bigger Airbus A321 aircraft featuring Business and Economy cabins.

Antalya, situated on the stunning Turkish Riviera, captivates visitors with its amazing blend of history, natural beauty, and modern allure.

Etihad will have a monopoly on both the new routes.

Frequency increases

Starting 15 June, Etihad is increasing its service frequency to a number of destinations. The weekly flights to Thiruvananthapuram and Amman will be increased by three, totalling 10 and 14 respectively. Additional services include three more flights to Cairo for a total of 24, Karachi increasing to 17, and Colombo to 20 weekly flights.

The latest expansion contributes to an overall 33% increase in Etihad’s total weekly flights, growing from 635 last summer to 847 in 2024, and extends Etihad’s reach from 65 to 75 destinations.

Meanwhile, Etihad recently unveiled new amenity kits and loungewear.
