Akasa Air adds Jeddah to its network

Akasa Air has announced the addition of Jeddah to its network. The Saudi Arabian city is the second international destination for the airline.

Akasa Air to Jeddah from Mumbai

Starting 15th July 2024, Akasa Air will operate a daily flight between Mumbai and Jeddah with the following schedule:

  • Mumbai-Jeddah
  • Departure time: 19:35
  • Arrival time: 22:25
  • Flight time: 5 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: QP561

  • Jeddah-Mumbai
  • Departure time: 23:55
  • Arrival time: 07:25 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 5 hours
  • Flight number: QP562

With the same schedule, the airline will operate special flights on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays between 8th June 2024 and 21st June 2024.

Starting 21st July 2024, the airline will operate an additional 5-weekly frequency between Mumbai and Jeddah with the following timings:

  • Mumbai-Jeddah
  • Departure time: 17:40
  • Arrival time: 20:30
  • Flight time: 5 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: QP559

  • Jeddah-Mumbai
  • Departure time: 21:30
  • Arrival time: 05:10 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 5 hours and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: QP560

From Ahmedabad

Starting 20th July 2024, the airline will operate twice-weekly service between Ahmedabad and Jeddah with the following timings:

  • Ahmedabad-Jeddah
  • Departure time: 17:40
  • Arrival time: 20:30
  • Flight time: 5 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight number: QP563

  • Jeddah-Ahmedabad
  • Departure time: 21:30
  • Arrival time: 04:55 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 4 hours and 55 minutes
  • Flight number: QP564

All of these flights will be operated by Akasaโ€™s Boeing B737MAX fleet.

Jeddah is a dynamic city in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia known for its rich heritage, historical architecture, culinary offerings, and scenic coastline along the Red Sea making it an attractive destination for a wide spectrum of travellers. It has also emerged as a prime commercial hub owing to its strategic location.

Akasa says that it has been granted traffic rights for two other international destinations – Riyadh and Kuwait – and will soon be โ€œexpanding its global presence in the coming monthsโ€.
