Turkish Airlines has unveiled new Business Class called “Crystal Suite” for its Boeing B777 fleet and upcoming Airbus A350s. Let’s go over the details.
New Turkish Airlines Business Clsss
Turkish Airlines has unveiled new Business Class seats called “Crystal Suite”. The new suite was revealed at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 in Hampshire, United Kingdom.
The suite features an adjustable suite door and privacy panel, a first for Turkish Airlines. The seat has a 23-inch seat width “boasting increased footwell space” with direct aisle access for all passengers with every window suite possessing full visibility. In line with the airline’s “Flow” brand identity, new suites feature lighter and warmer colors, marble-style table and rose gold finishes.
The suite has adjustable ambient and reading lights, universal and Type C power outlets, wireless charger, noise cancelling audio jack, adjustable mirror, closed stowage ergonomic seat cushion and a 22-inch inflight entertainment screen.
Our new Crystal Business Class suite will add a new chapter for our long-haul luxury travel and will carry the airline into the future with a new level of comfort and privacy across our extensive global network. The specially created design will complement our award-winning in-flight dining options for us to keep providing an unparalleled experience above the clouds for our guests.
Prof. Ahmet Bolat, Chairman of The Board and Executive Committee, Turkish Airlines said.

Plans
The Istanbul-based carrier says that the new seats will be available on its transcontinental flights and will be installed on its upcoming Airbus A350s and retrofitted on its existing fleet of Boeing B777s.
The airline’s B777s are in a serious need of refurbishment. The airline has a 2-3-2 configured Business Class, just like Emirates, which is not the most desired configuration in today’s era of air travel. Turkish Airlines’ fleet of A350 and B787 aircraft features a 1-2-1 configured Business Class product, so it is great to see the airline invest to have a consistent product onboard its transatlantic and transcontinental fleet.
The airline has not shared any details for Economy Class on its B777 fleet. It has a 3-3-3 configured Economy Class which makes Turkish one of the few airlines in the world to have a 9-abreast Economy Class onboard its B777s. If Turkish installs a new Economy Class product as well on its B777s, we can expect the airline to have a 3-4-3 configuration as is the norm now-a-days.
