IHCL signs a Vivanta in Surat

Indian Hotels Company Limited (IHCL) has announced the signing of a Vivanta in Surat, Gujarat. This is a greenfield project.

Vivanta Surat will be located opposite Surat International Airport. The hotel will feature 125 guest rooms and suites alongside an all-day dining restaurant, and a poolside café along with amenities like a high-performance gym, and swimming pool.

Surat, often referred to as the economic capital of Gujarat, is one of India’s fastest-growing cities. In line with its strategy, this signing strengthens IHCL’s presence across key commercial centers in India. We are delighted to collaborate with Mr. Dashrath Desai for this project.

Suma Venkatesh, Executive Vice President – Real Estate and Development, IHCL said.

IHCL says that the hotel will cater to both business and leisure travellers and will reflect Vivanta’s signature contemporary style and service.

We are delighted to partner with IHCL to introduce the Vivanta brand to Surat. This partnership will infuse new energy into the city.

Dashrath Desai, owner of the hotel said.

Surat, a commercial hub in Gujarat is renowned for its thriving diamond and textile industries. With the addition of this hotel, IHCL will have 29 hotels in Gujarat including 10 under development.

Lately, there has been a lot of development in terms of hotels in Surat. Recently, a JW Marriott and Aurika by Lemon Tree has been signed in the city. A Hilton Garden Inn is scheduled to open in the city in March 2025. Currently, there is a Marriott and a Courtyard present in the city along with a Park Inn by Radisson.
