After cancelling the launch last time, Air India Express has once again announced the addition of Hindon Airport to its network. Flights begin in March 2025.
Air India Express to Hindon Airport
Starting 1st March 2025, Air India Express will connect Kolkata (CCU) and Goa Dabolim (GOI) to Hindon Airport (HDO).
Flights on Kolkata-Hindon will operate daily with the following schedule:
- Kolkata-Hindon
- Departure time: 07:10
- Arrival time: 09:30
- Flight time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
- Flight number: IX1511
- Frequency: Daily
Flights on Hindon-Kolkata will operate 6-flights-a-week with the following schedule:
- Hindon-Kolkata
- Departure time: 17:20
- Arrival time: 19:40
- Flight time: 2 hours and 20 minutes
- Flight number: IX1512
- Frequency: Everyday except Saturdays
Flights on Hindon-Goa Dabolim route will run daily with the following timings:
- Hindon-Goa Dabolim
- Departure time: 10:30
- Arrival time: 13:15
- Flight time: 2 hours and 45 minutes
- Flight number: IX1511
- Frequency: Daily
Flights in Goa Dabolim-Hindon route will operate 6-weekly with the following schedule:
- Goa Dabolim-Hindon
- Departure time: 14:00
- Arrival time: 16:40
- Flight time: 2 hours and 40 minutes
- Flight number: IX1512
- Frequency: Everyday except Saturdays
On Saturdays when the Goa Dabolim-Hindon and Hindon-Kolkata routes won’t operate, the airline will instead operate a nonstop flight from Goa Dabolim to Kolkata instead of routing via Hindon, the timings of which are as follows:
- Goa Dabolim-Kolkata
- Departure time: 14:00
- Arrival time: 16:50
- Flight time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
- Flight number: IX1512
- Frequency: Only on Saturdays

Additionally, the airline will operate 6-weekly flights between Bengaluru (BLR) and Hindon (HDO) with the following schedule:
- Bengaluru-Hindon
- Departure time: 12:40
- Arrival time: 15:15
- Flight time: 2 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: IX1454
- Frequency: Daily
- Hindon-Bengaluru
- Departure time: 15:45
- Arrival time: 18:35
- Flight time: 2 hours and 50 minutes
- Flight number: IX1459
- Frequency: Daily
With the launch of flights to Hindon Airport, Air India Express will become the only carrier to operate flights to both the airports in Delhi NCR (National Capital Region).
For those flying in from Bengaluru, Goa, and Kolkata, Hindon Airport ensures quicker access to key areas in the National Capital Region. It also makes air travel more accessible to a broader population, particularly aspiring travellers from western Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand.

Currently, Star Air and flybig operate flights to Hindon Airport. While the former has service to Nanded, Adampur and Kishangarh, the latter offer flights to Bathinda and Ludhiana.
Situated in Ghaziabad, Hindon Airport provides a convenient alternative for travellers from Central and East Delhi, Noida, and nearby areas such as Akshardham, Anand Vibar, Parliament Street and Central Secretariat, Chandni Chowk Connaught Place, Indiraruram, Karol Bagh, Vaishali and surrounding regions.
Hindon Airport has a single terminal with eight check-in counters and is spread across an area of 5,425 square meters and has a capacity of serving 300 passengers at any given time.
