Oberoi Group announces two new resorts in Rishikesh

Indian luxury hospitality group Oberoi Group has announced two new resorts in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand. Read on to know more.

Two new resorts

The Oberoi Group will add two new resorts in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand, one under its flagship Oberoi brand and another under its 5-star Trident brand. The Oberoi resort will carry the “vilas” name “symbolising unparalleled luxury and personalised service as part of its branding”.

The Oberoi resort will feature 80 guest rooms while the Trident will feature 120 guest rooms. Set amidst a breathtaking 60-acre site, embraced by the Ganges on three sides, these resorts will be managed by EIH Limited, the parent company of Oberoi Group.

These two resorts reflect our unwavering commitment to expanding our presence in remarkable destinations. In partnership with The Ladhani Group, we are set to create a distinctive experience in Rishikesh, where the unique setting and Bill Bensley’s design expertise will come together to offer guests an oasis of luxury, tranquillity, and Oberoi’s legendary hospitality.

With planning already underway, construction of the two resorts in Rishikesh is expected to begin in early 2026.

Currently, the Oberoi Group has 19 properties under construction, that includes 16 hotels, two luxury boats, and a Nile cruiser to be completed by 2029. These two resorts in Rishikesh will take that number to 21. The group plans to open 50 new hotels by 2030, including an Oberoi resort in Goa.
