Yesterday evening marked an important debut for London City Airport. At 5:49 p.m., Helvetic Airways’ Embraer E190-E2 made its first commercial flight into the iconic airport in the centre of the British political and financial capital.

Helvetic Airways has modified the inflight foodservice concept for its summer-timetable services from and to EuroAirport Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg and Bern Belp Airport. The new meals will be served free of charge to all travellers flying from or to Basel-Mulhouse-Freiburg or Bern Belp airports as part of Helvetic Airways’ all-inclusive air travel product.
