Qatar airways will launch flights to San Francisco using Airbus A350: Check details

Qatar airways is increasing the number of destinations served in US by adding San Francisco to its network.

Qatar airways will start flights between Doha and San Francisco this December making San Francisco, the 9th destination of Qatar airways in the US alongside Boston, Chicago, Dallas-FortWorth, Los Angeles, NewYork, Washington, Philadelphia and Houston. The inaugural flight will takeoff from Doha on 15th December,2020. The flight will run four-times-a-week on the route.

The airline highlights the city’s popularity as a key business and leisure destination.It hopes to capitalize on strong traffic out of Silicon Valley. Qatar will be second middle eastern carrier after Emirates to offer nonstop flights to San Francisco from the Middle East.

The route will operate on Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday.

  • Doha- San Francisco
  • Departure Time- 8:15
  • Arrival Time- 12:55 (the same day)
  • Flight Time- 15 hours and 40 minutes
  • Flight Number- QR737
  • San Francisco- Doha
  • Departure Time- 14:55
  • Arrival Time- 17:55 (the next day)
  • Flight Time- 15 hours and 20 minutes
  • Flight Number- QR738

Aircraft Details

The route will be operated by Airbus A350 which is the most fuel efficient aircraft from Airbus. The aircraft is one of the most quietest and comfortable in the industry right now. This A350 variant has 283 seats in which 36 are Qsuite seats which are often known as the best business class in the industry and 247 economy class seats.
