Indigo has announced 22 new domestic flights connecting key regional cities across India with the new services slated to begin from 28th March,2021.

Indigo will commence operations on Agartala-Aizawl route under Indian government’s regional connectivity scheme.
The Indian low cost carrier will start exclusive flights between:
- Jaipur and Vadodara
- Chennai and Vadodara
- Bhubaneswar and Patna
- Bengaluru and Shirdi
- Patna and Kochi
- Rajahmundry and Tirupati
- Kolkata and Gaya
- Kochi and Trivandrum
- Jaipur and Surat
- Chennai and Surat
“We are pleased to add 22 new flights including RCS routes, enhancing connectivity in the southern, western, eastern, and north-eastern regions. The introduction of these new exclusive routes will further bolster the airline’s domestic network while augmenting inter and intra-regional accessibility. Direct connections between Bhubaneswar and Patna -the ancient cities; Jaipur and Vadodara – the textile hubs; Rajahmundry and Tirupati, the sacred cities, will cater to the travel demand in the cities, alongside promoting trade and tourism. Indigo has also announced plans to open 7 new bases in India.
Meanwhile, SpiceJet has also announced 24 new domestic flights slated to begin from 19th and 20th February,2021.
