Qatar Airways to restart flights to Sharjah for the 1st time since the blockade ended

Qatar Airways will restart flights to Sharjah in United Arab Emirates for the 1st time since the blockade ended. The airline will operate a daily flight to the Emirate.

After announcing resumption of flights to Phuket and Málaga , the Doha-based airline has revealed that it will resume flying to Sharjah in UAE from 1st July 2021. The flight schedule is:

  • Doha-Sharjah
  • Departure time: 14:35
  • Arrival time: 16:45
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: QR1036
  • Frequency: Daily
  • Sharjah-Doha
  • Departure time: 17:55
  • Arrival time: 18:05
  • Flight time: 1 hour and 10 minutes
  • Flight number: QR1038
  • Frequency: Daily

The route will be operated by a Boeing B787-8 Dreamliner featuring 22 seats in business class and 232 seats in economy class. The resumption of services will enable passengers flying from and to Sharjah to benefit from the airline’s extensive international network in Asia, Africa, Australia and the Americas, which currently stands at over 130 destinations with plans to increase to more than 1,200 weekly flights to over 140 destinations by the end of July. The announcement follows the the airline’s resumption of flights to Dubai and Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

Qatar Airways recently announced that it will increase frequency of flights to the Maldives, boost flights to Miami and launch a new route to Abidjan.
