Largest carrier flying from West Coast to Mexico

Alaska Airlines proudly states that it has more nonstop flights to Mexico from the West Coast than any other U.S. carrier. This winter, it will have up to 27 departures a day: 20 from California and seven from the Pacific Northwest.

In addition to the new nonstop seasonal service from San Francisco to Loreto, Mazatlán and Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Alaska also has nonstop flights from San Francisco to Cancún, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta. From San Jose in the Bay Area, it flies nonstop to Guadalajara, Los Cabos and Puerto Vallarta.

Alaska serves eight destinations across Mexico from its West Coast gateways: Cancún, Ixtapa/Zihuatanejo, Loreto, Los Cabos, Manzanillo, Mazatlán, Puerto Vallarta and Guadalajara. Tickets to all these destinations are now on sale with up to 30% off on select, one-way fares.

Enhanced onboard service

Alaska Airlines recently expanded the food and beverage service on its flights, adding more West Coast inspired meals in First Class like Guajillo Chile-Lime Salad with ancient grains, and additional fresh food items throughout the cabin that can be pre-ordered up to two weeks before departure. It also serves free craft beer, West Coast wines and cocktails in First Class and Premium Class, which are also available for purchase in the main cabin.

Meanwhile, Alaska Airlines recently strengthened its partnership with fellow Oneworld alliance member Qatar Airways. The airline has announced more flights from the West Coast of the United States for the Winter season while it is adding two new routes out of Boise, Idaho.
