Accor opens second Novotel in Mumbai near the international airport

French hospitality company Accor has announced the opening of Novotel Mumbai International Airport, which marks the second Novotel property in India’s financial capital after Novotel Mumbai Juhu Beach.

Novotel Mumbai International Airport is located 1.5 kilometres away from the airport, in the Andheri suburb of Mumbai. The hotel has easy access to the Western and Eastern Express Highways which are the city’s travel lifelines. It is also accessible from key industrial, business and recreation hubs of Andheri Kurla Road, MIDC, SEEPZ, Powai and Bandra Kurla Complex.

The hotel features 268 guest rooms and suites. Room décor has been inspired by India’s largest city, with wallpaper depicting Mumbai landmarks and attractions including Dhobi Ghat, Juhu Beach and the Dabbawalas. Facilities in the accommodations include 43-inch TVs, glass-enclosed rain showers, and workdesks with multimedia panels.

Food Exchange is a contemporary and fun restaurant concept addressing the diversity of the markets. The restaurant serves multi-cuisine food and a good range of beverages. Gourmet Bar is a lobby bar that serves quirky balanced meals along with cocktails, wines, beer and coffees. The eatery also provides a private meeting space for less formal gatherings, and a work play area, where guests can enjoy their own space to work and unwind by playing a quick game on the play station. 190 AMSL is an upcoming bar which will offer Speak-easy cocktails, selection of fine wines and spirits from across the globe, paired with high energy music and scenic view of ‘The City of Dreams’.

Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor infinity swimming pool with views of the surrounding area, InBalance fitness centre featuring with fully functional modern equipments and a luxury spa offering signature, home-crafted massages & therapies.

Novotel Mumbai International Airport also features event and meeting rooms which span across 16,500 square feet with ample natural light. The Harbour Room, which is located on the lobby level, has its own private entrance, in addition to two meeting rooms on the first floor and the grand ballroom on the 11th floor.

The hotel is equipped with all the technology that you would expect from a new-age hotel, such as digital menus in restaurants, mobile check-in, and access to entertainment channels in the rooms.

Novotel Mumbai International Airport is the 22nd Novotel hotel in India.

Meanwhile, Accor recently announced that it will open 9 new properties across Australia and New Zealand in 2023.
