EgyptAir expands India network with the addition of Delhi

EgyptAir has announced that it is expanding its presence in India with the addition to Delhi to its network.

As of 3rd August 2023, EgyptAir will operate 4-flights-a-week between Cairo International Airport and Delhiā€™s Indira Gandhi International Airport.

On Thursdays and Saturdays, the flight times are as follows:

  • Cairo-Delhi
  • Departure time: 23:50
  • Arrival time: 08:55 (the next day)
  • Flight time: 6 hours and 35 minutes
  • Flight number: MS975
  • Delhi-Cairo
  • Departure time: 17:40
  • Arrival time: 21:55
  • Flight time: 6 hours and 45 minutes
  • Flight number: MS976
  • Frequency: Fridays and Sundays

On Fridays and Sundays, the flight times are as follows:

  • Cairo-Delhi
  • Departure time: 11:40
  • Arrival time: 20:45
  • Flight time: 6 hours and 35 minutes
  • Flight number: MS973
  • Delhi-Cairo
  • Departure time: 01:50
  • Arrival time: 06:20
  • Flight time: 7 hours
  • Flight number: MS974

These flights will be operated by a Airbus A320neo featuring 16 Business Class seats and 126 standard Economy Class seats.

As per the recent IATA figures, the traffic between Delhi and Cairo is around 31,000 passengers while the same for Mumbai-Cairo market is 66,000 passengers.
