IndiGo has announced the addition of Ayodhya to its network. The sacred city will become the 86th domestic destination and 118th overall destination in the IndiGo network.
IndiGo will become the first carrier to operate from the soon to be inaugurated Maryada
Purushottam Shri Ram International Airport in Ayodhya. The airline will operate one-off services between Delhi and Ayodhya on 30th December 2023 and 6th January 2024 before commencing daily flights from 10th January 2024.
As of 10th January 2024, IndiGo will operate a daily service between Delhi and Ayodhya with the following timings:
- Delhi-Ayodhya
- Departure time: 11:55
- Arrival time: 13:15
- Flight time: 1 hour and 20 minutes
- Flight number: 6E2128
- Note: The one-off service on 6th January 2024 will also operate with this schedule (timings for the one-off service on 30th December 2023 not known)
- Ayodhya-Delhi
- Departure time: 13:45
- Arrival time: 15:00
- Flight time: 1 hour and 15 minutes
- Flight number: 6E2129
- Note: The one-off service on 6th January 2024 will also operate with this schedule (timings for the one-off service on 30th December 2023 not known)

Starting 11th January 2024, the low-cost carrier will operate a 3-weekly service between Ahmedabad and Ayodhya with the following schedule:
- Ahmedabad-Ayodhya
- Departure time: 09:10
- Arrival time: 11:00
- Flight time: 1 hour and 50 minutes
- Flight number: 6E6375
- Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
- Ayodhya-Ahmedabad
- Departure time: 11:30
- Arrival time: 13:40
- Flight time: 2 hours and 10 minutes
- Flight number: 6E112
- Frequency: Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays
Flights will operate with A320 family aircraft.
