Marriott is soon going to open its second Moxy Hotel in India after the debut hotel in Bengaluru. Moxy Mumbai Andheri West will mark the brand’s debut in India’s financial capital.
Moxy Mumbai Andheri West – Location
Moxy Mumbai Andheri West in the Oshiwara area in the west side of Andheri suburb. The nearest metro station is Lower Oshiwara of Mumbai Metro’s Yellow Line while the nearest suburban railway station are Andheri and Jogeshwari.
Mumbai’s Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj International Airport is at a distance of eight kilometers from the property. Mumbai’s famous Juhu Beach is 2.8 kilometers away from the property.
Accommodations and Dining
Moxy Mumbai Andheri West features six categories of rooms:
- Moxy Queen (17 square meters/194 square feet)
- Moxy Twin (17 square meters/194 square feet)
- Moxy High Queen (17 square meters/194 square feet)
- Moxy High Twin (17 square meters/194 square feet)
- Director Room (24 square meters/269 square feet)
- Moxy Producer (35 square meters/387 square feet)
Moxy Queen Rooms are available as Mobility Accessible Rooms as well. The rooms have the signature Moxy interiors and feature city or skyline views. The accommodations feature amenities such as vintage Moxy telephones with USB ports, high-definition television and under-bed storage. Moxy signatures like hanging storage options to complement the compact room design is found at its Mumbai property as well.

As is the norm at a Moxy hotel, guests will complete their check-in formalities at the Moxy Bar with a complimentary drink. The bar is present smack in the middle of the hotel lobby. Moxy Kitchen, the hotel’s all-day diner, is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner offering international cuisine with a grab-and-go menu along with a full drinks menu.
Moxy Sky, open for dinner, is a rooftop lounge serving cocktails and light bites in a “bold, stylish space”.
Facilities and Pricing
Facilities at the hotel include an outdoor pool, a gym, a 110-square meter event space and two 15-square meter conference rooms.
Moxy Mumbai Andheri West is now accepting reservations for stays starting 25th August 2024. I made a quick search on Marriott’s website to check how much is the hotel charging per night. The base rooms, Moxy Queen, start at INR 12,142 per night ($145 approximately) including taxes while the rates are INR 12,720 ($152 approximately) per night including breakfast and taxes.
The hotel is currently running “Moxy Madness” offer which includes breakfast for two guests, a welcome drink, 20% discount on Food and Beverages, INR 1,000 Hotel Credit per night and late check-out until 1400 hours subject to availability. Rates for this offer start at INR 12,390 ($147 approximately) including taxes.
There’s also another offer ongoing called “Moxy Divacation”, which includes breakfast for two guests, one major meal, 20% discount on Food and Beverages, Diva kit (Hotel curated hamper) and three pieces of garment pressing per day. Rates for this offer start at INR 13,570 ($162 approximately) including taxes.
