Emirates simplifies arrivals and departures in Dubai with launch of Airport Ease and Airport Ease +

In the past year, airlines around the world have been doing innovations in order to improve passenger experience and grow confidence. Emirates, in order to simply the arrival and departure process at Dubai International Airport, has announced the launch of Airport Ease and Airport Ease+ packages. Through this, travellers can now be treated to a VIP and hassle-free experience upon both arrival and departure.

Airport Ease

Emirates has announced the launch of Airport Ease and Airport Ease+ packages. These are meant to help Emirates Holidays customers as well as returning Dubai residents expedite their return journey for ‘stress-free travel’ upon arrival and on departure.

The smaller of the two packages is Airport Ease. This package is valid for two people and includes up to four bags, an effortless end-to-end experience with Meet & Greet prior to reaching immigration, fast-track and a personalised escort through the arrivals hall, and Emirates’ signature Chauffer Drive service in a BMW 5 Series for onwards transport to their hotel or home. The airline says that it will also ‘do the legwork’ on baggage handling and collection. This package starts from AED499 ($136) (This is an introductory price. Regular package starts at AED529 ($144)).

Airport Ease+

With Airport Ease +, ‘convenience and efficiency are taken to the next level’ for the whole arrivals and departures experience, starting from AED 1,199($326) (This is an introductory price. Regular package starts at AED1249 ($340)). Also made for two people and up to 4 bags, this package includes dedicated Meet & Greet at the customer’s arrival gate, one-to-one escort and dedicated fast-track at immigration and security, Emirates’ BMW Series 5 Chauffeur Drive service to and from the airport and baggage collection and convenient delivery (upon request) to the customer’s address in Dubai.

Additionally, Airport Ease+ includes departure services. Emirates Holidays customers can take advantage of home or hotel check-in from anywhere in Dubai. Passengers can complete their check-in formalities and have their luggage transported to the airport prior to their flight. They can then make their way to the airport via Chauffer Drive service, and head directly to immigration, bypassing the check-in queue at the airport. The package also includes a marhaba lounge stay at Dubai International, with complimentary food and beverages, WIFI, and much more for a relaxing experience before their Emirates flight. The Marhaba lounge is located in Concourse B and can be accessed by anyone for a small fee.

Meanwhile, Emirates, just a few days ago, announced that it has re-opened the dedicated first-class lounge at Dubai International Airport after keeping it closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The airline has launched a new payment system called ‘Emirates Pay’. The carrier has also announced that it will operate a second daily Airbus A380 flight to Jordan during July and August. The airline has resumed flights to Phuket in Thailand and is resuming flights to Nice and Lyon in France and Malta and Larnaca in the Mediterranean. Emirates is also planning to launch flights to Miami in July.
