Singapore Airlines has announced Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights to 3 destinations in India. The announcement comes after the signing of an agreement between the Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore (CAAS) and India’s Ministry of Civil Aviation.
VTL flights
Starting 29th November 2021, Singapore Airlines (SIA) will operate Vaccinated Travel Lane (VTL) flights from Mumbai, Delhi and Chennai to Singapore, subject to regulatory approvals. The following flights will be operated as VTL flights:
Mumbai-Singapore:
- Departure time: 23:35
- Arrival time: 07:30 (the next day)
- Flight time: 5 hours and 25 minutes
- Flight number: SQ423
- Frequency: Daily
Delhi-Singapore:
- Departure time: 21:50
- Arrival time: 06:10 (the next day)
- Flight time: 5 hours and 50 minutes
- Flight number: SQ403
- Frequency: Daily
Chennai-Singapore:
- Departure time: 23:15
- Arrival time: 05:55(the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 10 minutes
- Flight number: SQ529
- Frequency: Daily
Flights to Chennai and Delhi will be operated by Boeing B787-10 Dreamliners while flights to Mumbai will be operated by Airbus A350-900 aircraft.
In addition to VTL flights, from 29th November 2021, SIA and its subsidiary Scoot Airlines will also progressively operate non-VTL flights from Ahmedabad, Hyderabad, Bengaluru, Kolkata and Kochi. Passengers travelling on these flights must must meet entry requirements into Singapore and adhere to prevailing health control measures. Additionally, second flights, which are non-VTL flights, from Mumbai and Delhi will also be operated twice-a-week. These flights are:
Bengaluru-Singapore (resumes on 30th November 2021):
- Departure time: 23:10
- Arrival time: 06:10 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 30 minutes
- Flight number: SQ511
- Frequency: 4-times-a-week using Airbus A350-900
Ahmedabad-Singapore (resumes on 30th November 2021):
- Departure time: 23:05
- Arrival time: 07:15 (the next day)
- Flight time: 5 hours and 40 minutes
- Flight number: SQ505
- Frequency: 4-times-a-week using Airbus A350-900
Hyderabad-Singapore (resumes on 1st December 2021):
- Departure time: 22:50
- Arrival time: 06:00 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 40 minutes
- Flight number: SQ523
- Frequency: 3-times-a-week using Boeing B737-8
Kolkata-Singapore (resumes on 29th November 2021):
- Departure time: 22:50
- Arrival time: 05:25 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 05 minutes
- Flight number: SQ517
- Frequency: daily using Boeing B737-8
Kochi-Singapore (resumes on 30th November 2021):
- Departure time: 23:05
- Arrival time: 06:10 (the next day)
- Flight time: 4 hours and 35 minutes
- Flight number: SQ535
- Frequency: 3-times-a-week using Boeing B737-8

Scoot Airlines, SIA’s low-cost subsidiary, will operate the following non-VTL flights from Amritsar, Hyderabad and Tiruchirappalli:
Amritsar-Singapore (resumes on 31st January 2022):

Tiruchirappalli-Singapore (resumes on 2nd December 2021):

- Frequency: 3-times-a-week using Airbus A320neo

Singapore from all SIA destinations across India. Round trip fares start from ₹13,100 (all-inclusive) and passengers can avail this offer from 23rd to 30th November 2021 for travel before 31st December 2021.

Vaccinated Travel Lane
Travellers to Singapore who are not Singapore citizens or permanent residents and wish to travel on the VTL services need to apply for a Vaccinated Travel Pass (VTP) before their visa application. VTP applications must be made between 7 and 60 calendar days before the intended date of entry into Singapore. Passengers must ensure that they are eligible to travel under the VTL arrangements before their flight. You can read the details of the requirements and how to apply for the VTP here.
