Qatar Airways to serve Caviar in Business Class on select routes

Qatar Airways continues to enhance its Business Class experience. It has now announced that it will serve Caviar in Business Class on select routes.

Qatar Airways to serve Caviar in Business Class

As of 15th August 2024, Qatar Airways is serving Caviar in Business Class on select routes. The airline says that this is a “further enhancement to its business class service”. These 13 routes from Doha are:

• Boston
• Dallas
• Hong Kong
• Houston
• London
• Los Angeles
• Melbourne
• New York
• Paris
• São Paulo
• Singapore
• Sydney
• Washington DC

The introduction of caviar service, commonly available only in first class cabins, further elevates Qatar Airways’ award-winning business class experience. Xia Cai, Senior Vice President – Product Development and Design, Qatar Airways said.

The Doha-based airline says that its “Business Class service features extensive food and beverage options, as well as on-demand dining where passengers can dine at their preferred meal time”. The airline adds that the new caviar service can be enjoyed as a standalone option or part of the onboard meal courses.

Middle Eastern-rival Emirates serves Caviar to First Class passengers only. Caviar retails for around $6100 for 1 kilogram for reference. It is considered a premium offering due to its high retail price and various other reasons.

Meanwhile, Qatar Airways recently unveiled the next generation of its highly regarded Business Class “QSuite”.
